The Mayor's Fund for London is working in partnership with the Greater London Authority on the Mayor's Entrepreneur project.
The Greater London Authority's Environment Team are offering up to 20-part time paid internships from September/October 2017 that will last for 6 months. These internship roles are an opportunity for motivated individuals to gain work-based skills in a local government environment.
About the role
Modulus is a civil and structural engineering consultancy. We provide structural design services, training, authoring, technical editing and have a specialist knowledge in the design of reinforced concrete.
About the person
You will be a current student at a London based university and will be continuing your studies in September 2017. You will be an excellent communicator.
Working alongside your studies as part of a small but dynamic team, you will help to run the Mayor's Entrepreneur - a London-wide competition for students. You will assist in promoting the competition to students and staff at London's Higher and Further Education institutions through direct contact, workshops, social media and other verbal and written methods.
In addition, you will be the main point of contact for any volunteer student ambassadors and help to shape the competition to continue to reflect the needs of London's students.
The role will require experience of MS Office and good planning and organising abilities. An interest in entrepreneurship and/or sustainability would be an advantage but is not essential.
Successful candidates will be employed by the Mayor's Fund and seconded to the Greater London Authority.
